Corrections and Clarifications

Our approach to factual corrections and material updates.

Our correction process

Current Affairs India maintains a correction process for factual errors, source changes, metadata problems and material clarifications.

Examples include incorrect names, dates or numerical information; incorrect category or geographic classification; broken or incorrect source attribution; duplicate events; material changes reflected by the original source; and errors in exam-oriented classification.

When a material issue is confirmed

  1. Factual content is corrected.
  2. Source/provenance is retained or updated.
  3. The modification timestamp is updated where appropriate.
  4. A material clarification is made visible when necessary.

Report an error

Use Contact and provide the affected page URL, what appears incorrect, and a supporting source where possible.

Confirmed material corrections may be recorded here as the correction log develops.
